James Wylder: Author and Publisher
James Wylder (born October 10, 1989) is an American writer and publisher, renowned for their contributions to science fiction, particularly through their work on Doctor Who spin-offs and their original series, 10,000 Dawns. They are also the founder and CEO of Arcbeatle Press.

Early Life and Career
Wylder’s passion for writing emerged at an early age, compelling them to create stories even before they could write. They pursued this interest academically, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Creative Writing from Hanover College.
In 2013, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, Wylder published An Eloquence of Time and Space, a poetry collection that garnered media attention, including coverage by the New York Daily News. That same year, they founded Arcbeatle Press.
Wylder’s literary works include the 10,000 Dawns series, inspired by a tabletop role-playing game from their college days. They have also contributed to Doctor Who literature, with works such as “Cyberon” and “Cwej: Down the Middle”. Currently, Wylder is developing the WARSONG series, a spin-off of the WARS Trading Card Game.
Personal Life
Identifying as non-binary and using they/them pronouns, Wylder continues to influence the science fiction genre through their diverse storytelling and publishing endeavors.
